Microneedling and PRP Treatments
Microneedling - A cosmetic procedure that involves tiny sterilized needles, pricking the skin, causing temporary damage, in exchange for an increase in collagen and elastin production. This treatment is great for those dealing with acne scarring, hair loss, hyperpigmentation, fine lines/wrinkles, and sun damage.
Microneedling with PRP - Microneedling with PRP, is similar to microneedling, except we use your body's naturally produced plasma, as a therapy during the treatment. Your blood will be drawn prior to the treatment, and placed in a centrifuge, which will separate your plasma for use. While microneedling the skin, we will use your plasma, as a serum to be redirected into your skin. This treatment has several benefits, and is especially unique because we are using your own body to repair itself.
PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma - PRP is a form of self healing, using our blood's plasma in order to repair damage to our body. A quick blood draw, and trip to the centrifuge, will separate your plasma, which will then be inserted into a needle, and injected into the area of concern. This treatment has proven to be extremely beneficial to those with joint discomfort, sports injuries, hair loss, etc.
